First and foremost we offer a fantastic space. The church actually seats up to 600 including the balcony, but at 100-200 it still feels pleasantly full. Even a small wedding of 30-60 people doesn’t feel out of place.
The building is unusually light because it was built without columns, making it one of the largest unsupported roofs in London. This is the perfect setting for a wedding because everyone can see what’s going on. The lines of sight make it also a photographer’s dream.
The main door of the church is set in a pretty stone porch, and exits onto Trinity Rise. You can throw biodegradable confetti, blow bubbles etc..There is a garden to the rear for photos, and Brockwell Park with its amazing views over London is just a two-minute walk away.
The church is fully accessible for wheelchair users, for whom there is also a dedicated WC. There is a fully equipped PA and AV system, including a loop system for those with hearing aids, and a swing-out screen with projector and laptop, should you want to use it.
Holy Trinity’s organ is one of the finest in South London, and was fully restored some years ago. We are happy to provide an organist, should you require it. If you want to bring a band, we have a Premier drum kit, Hartke bass amp, high quality Clavinova, Natal congas, and AKG vocal mics available for hire.
We will help you prepare your Order of Service as a matter of course. If you would like us to print it as well, we offer a simple but elegant design at a low cost. Beyond this, we can recommend excellent local printers.
There is parking for about 10 cars in our own car park, as well as on the street. But the venue is exceptionally well served by bus, train, and underground.
Finally, we offer a superb, four-week, Marriage Preparation Course. It is equally suitable whether you are religious or not, and whether you have been living together for several years or not. The course focuses entirely on you and your relationship – please enquire about it.
